Hi there,
Holy cow, a lot happens in nine months! First and foremost in our hearts and minds our beloved drummer, "Tranquil" Bill Wrobleski, has decided to move on to the Bay Area. He has been with us since the beginning, and much longer in some cases. Wish him luck in his future endevours.
We spent a stretch of time in Philly recording a boatload of songs some of which are appearing on our forthcoming EP "Where Oh Where Oh Where" which is to be released on Tuesday Sept. 18th. On that day we are playing an in store at the Electric Fetus in Minneapolis and the official release show is the next night (Sept.19) at the Hexagon Bar in Minneapolis. Come on out, both shows are free.
The Hexagon show is not only the EP release party but also our US tour kickoff. We are going with our good friends Vampire Hands who also just released their CD "Virgin Dust American Lips." Stand up dude Colin Johnson of Vampire Hands is handling drums for us on this tour, it WILL be Funkyapolis-towne. We are first heading West, swinging through the Southwest and then making an East coast loop to finish it off. Six weeks all together, look at our shows page or our myspace page to see if we are coming to a city close to you.
Drop us a line sometime, we should do this again real soon,

It sure has been a while. Sorry 'bout that. We've had a few great shows the past couple months. And the Halloween Spooktacular in Fargo was no exception. As usual, it was a blast. Thanks to all our friends up there, and to Colin from Vampire Hands for making the trek with us. We've apoligized for failing to get him back in time for class.
Check out the Shows page. Some good ones coming up. And, take a peak at the Media page, where we have some new and old photos (finally) up. They were promised a long time ago, but never say never...

I swear, they are trying to kill us. TITV Headquarters just received a letter from the Ford Motor Company regarding our rig. It seems our trustworthy van has an, um, issue that needs to be address. And I quote:
"On your vehicle, an underhood speed control deactivation switch may overheat, smoke, or burn, which could result in an underhood fire. This condition may occur either when the vehicle is parked or when it is being operated, even if the speed control is not in use."
When the vehicle is parked? Even if the speed control is not in use? This thing is a ticking time bomb!
Pray for the list of friends who borrowed her this week to move into their new homes. Jesus Christ.

Well, we survived the weekend in Milwaukee and Chicago. It was nice for some of us to come home to Milwaukee and see old friends and family. Thanks to Andy and Lani for the place to crash, and to everyone who came out and caught the shows.
And, thanks to Evan for coming along and playing with us. IF you wnat to here more of this fine pedal steel player, check out his band, The Guilded Age. They are nothing short of amazing.
We are laying a little low these days, working on some new material. Expect to see some of that in the coming months.
See you soon.

We had a blast playing the show on Sunday. Thanks to Golden Smog for having us. It was an honor. Thanks to Andy Thompson for helping us out (as he always does).
And, of course, thanks to Conrad and the rest of the First Ave. staff for being such a great crew. Apoligies from certain members of this band, usually a group of well-behaved gentlemen, who were caught sneaking into the Golden Smog dressing room to use the toilet. We probably should have asked first. Then again, they did borrow an amp from us in mid-set, so I suppose it all evens out...

So, if everything goes to plan, as it always does, we will have our new, bitchin' T-shirts available at the Golden Smog Show on Sunday, and will have them for sale on this here Web site shortly thereafter. Let's be honest, your wardrobe could use a little sprucing up.
Get outide. It's really nice out.

We are all very excited to announce that we are playing with Golden Smog in the First Avenue Mainroom on July 23. This is the release party for their new album, "Another Fine Day." We are honored to be on the show, and hope you can make it down to help them celebrate. It's gonna get crowded, so buy your $20 ticket now...
The Warlords of Gaikon would like to thank everyone at the 10 Second Film Festval and the Soap Factory for having them down last night. They are willing to offer their pit band services to any event that offers an ample beer supply.
Thunder in the Valley shirts are coming soon, we swear. Hang tight.

Hello again! Summer is here, and it is time for outdoor fun. We just signed on to be the pit band for the Second Annual 10-Second Film Festival at the Soap Factory. The festivities start right after the fireworks. We'll be doing our best Max Weinberg Seven impression. Last year's event was huge, and this year should be no different.
There are some more show coming up this summer as well, and we hope to hit the road a bit in August. So if you have a cousin in Ohio who knows who puts on the best shows...
Hopefully they'll be for sale on the site soon, but we do have a few posters (yep, Adam Turman's flaming balloon poster) left over from the CD release show. If you are interesting in getting one for cheep, drop us a line. We'll take care of you. We always do.
Sleep tight.

Well holy shit. Our little record (few folks have called it a gem!) is finally out. Thanks to everyone how came out to the release show last week at the Turf Club, and for the many great musicians that played with us. Special thanks to the God Damn Doo Wob Band, Die Electric! and the Turf Club staff for really making it a perfect evening. Sorry to all the folks left out in the cold...
Stop by our Media page and check out some great press we've had of late. If anything, it is great fodder for you to use in telling us what assholes we've become since getting another record under our belts.
Keep an eye on the show's page as well, we have some good stuff coming up. For example, the Triple Rock tonight for Tik Tak's birthday / Cardinal Sin's cd release show. It's gonna be a hoot.
See you there.

Well, happy St. Patrick's Day! If you need a good way to celebrate, we got some
ways to do it. This Thursday, come on down to the Dubliner is St. Paul, were
we will be rocking out in a tent in the parking lot. It's an early show, so get
there right after work and start drinking. We sound better that way.
And, perhaps
more importantly, come down to the Triple Rock Friday night to catch some of
us in total rock'n'roll glory: A Thin Lizzy cover band! No shit.
In other news, a song from A Long, Long Walk (if you haven't heard, that's our
new record that is coming out at the end of April on Heart of a Champion Records)
is going to appear on a compilation that will accompany the May issue of Vice
Magazine. So head down to your local newsstand and check it out.
Good night.
